SUMMARY OF PUBLICATIONS

One article, a new theory of a Jane Austen historical source, is being considered for a book of essays by eminent scholars. Most articles concern politeness and the individual’s relationship to nature; all analyze everyday speech in contexts applicable to entertainment industry, business, and non-profits today.

One book, an edition of a late Renaissance English poet, 2004.

One archaeological guide for students, edited for a state historical site and monument; to be completed 2005.

Four book reviews on books about or by Jane Austen published between 1997 and 2000.


COMMUNITY SERVICE
Wrote $100,000 grant proposal, pending, for GSS in Dacca, Bangladesh, to help fund 750 primary schools for impoverished children and capacity-building project for impoverished and homeless adults, mostly women, to Public Welfare Foundation, November 2004.
