| | Description: Hello Actors and Actresses, My name is Meladi McNair, and I am looking to shoot my first feature film in the Fall of 2012. I am in need of lead and supporting actors who are looking to build their reels. This production is non-paying; however, actors will receive a copy and credit. Also, each character that I am casting for will have lines. I will also need non-speaking, background actors. The novel that the script derives from is available on Amazon. The title is Ruckus The Vexing. The first edition of the book is also available in the Dayton Metro Library. My mission is to raise awareness through a dramatization of the psychological and physical affects associated with various forms of victimization/bullying. As a former actress myself, I am aware of the level of passion and dedication needed to successfully produce a film. I am looking to work with passionate people to help me bring awareness to the serious underlining theme of the production, and an issue that plagues our nation bullying. A standard actor release form is required for participation.
