This casting is for a leading role in Mississippi Films' newest Iowa-based feature also starring Jennifer Fontaine, David Mattey and Lydia Blanco. 'Who's Your Daddy' tells the story of Aaseamah, an Iraqi girl who comes to the US in search of her GI father.

producing a new film entitled; The Inn At The Mist, a ghost-story musical set in Victorian England.

Artists chosen will be asked to sign a non-binding letter of intent. On October 31st, 1870 on the coast of England in the town of Brighton, the Inn At The Mist burned to the ground. On October 31st, 1875, the Inn At The Mist has been reincarnated...

This haunting musical centers around the character, Mary Charles, the former keeper of the Inn At The Mist. Mary Charles is alive, but only in spirit. In life, Mary Charles witnessed many unfortunate events while "keeping" the Inn. Some of these events were of an evil nature.

Although she did not participate in these events, she did nothing to help. This is almost an equal sin. Therefore, she has been brought back into existance to redeem herself for her lack of intervention.

Mary Charles' counterpart is the coachman, Michael Gregory. At first glance, Michael Gregory appears to be a friendly, affable coachman who stumbles upon the Inn with a passenger, Jonathan Taylor - a man with a questionable past - seeking refuge from inclement weather. Actually, Michael Gregory is the personification of evil. He has, along with Mary Charles, orchestrated a union of four apparent strangers. His purpose is quite the opposite of Mary Charles, for as she is there to redeem herself and protect her arriving guests, he is there to collect their souls.

On every Hallow's Eve since the beginning of time, Michael Gregory has attempted to collect souls of the vulnerable. In addition to Jonathan Taylor, on this particular Hallow's eve, the other arriving guests include Brian Meddows and his fiancee, Priscilla White.

There is also the housekeeper, Millicent Graham, who has an unusual tie to the Inn and these guests. Neither Jonathan, Brian nor Priscilla are aware of what lies ahead for them on this stormy night. Almost immediately, each of the guests begin having strange experiences which they try to rationalize as the result of the storm;, voices, visions, moaning, singing and the general feeling of an unseen presence in the house.

Over the course of the evening, Brian finds out that he lived at this Inn as a child. He also realizes that this was the same place his Mother committed suicide after her husband abandoned her upon finding out that she was with child.

Jonathan is also suspicious that he has been to the Inn as well. Once he finds the name of the residence is the "Inn At The Mist", he realizes that this is where he murdered his concubine,

Clara Rogers, just 5 years earlier. As time passes and nerves become more frayed, Michael Gregory slowly reveales his intentions to the guests of the Inn. Simultaneously, Mary and Millicent reveal the previously held secret connections the guests have with each other. As Michael gregory manifests more and more of his power and evil intent, Mary Charles must face the decision as to whether to be a willing accomplice in Michael Gregory's demonic treachery or redeem herself by intervening in the salvation of those entrusted to her care. One last dramatic confrontation will decide who will triumph.

JONATHAN TAYLOR: Late 40s to 50s. Once wealthy landowner. Stern, bitter, driven. He has been a party to two sinful deeds. He has tried for years to keep them secret. So far he has been successful, until tonight. Baritone.

BRIAN MEDDOWS: 20s, poor, raised in an orphanage after his Mother, Beatrice Taylor, committed suicide when he was but 5 years old. He is the son of Jonathan Taylor, though neither of them know of this relationship. He is engaged to Priscilla White. Tenor.

BEATRICE TAYLOR: ghost, 30s. Was abandoned by her husband (Jonathan Taylor). Gave birth to son Brian. Went slowly insane and committed suicide when her son was 5 yrs old. Soprano.

CLARA ROGERS: late 20s, Beautiful but hard-hearted. Ran off with Jonathan Taylor. She too became disposable to Jonathan and was eventually murdered by him. She is seeking revenge. Soprano

PRISCILLA WHITE: early 20s. Innocent, nave, but strong. She is from a wealthy family, but gave it all up to be with Brian. Second soprano.

MILLICENT GRAHAM: housekeeper. 40s stern, standoffish and generally unpleasant. Her allegiances to good or evil are suspect. Alto

Price of Promotion” The Movie Casting Call

“Synopsis”

When bank employee Carl, is passed over for a long overdue promotion he learns there are other ways to get what you deserve

Carl Martin is well liked and respected at his job. He’s everyone’s favorite guy, except for one. His boss Mr. Coleman doesn’t believe in promoting based on merit but rather on skin color, and Carl’s isn’t the right one. Carl’s thinks this promotion is in the bag and begins to spend as though he already has the job, including purchasing a winter getaway for his family.

Meanwhile, the local syndicate kingpin, Mr. King asks his best enforcers Rudy and Bobby to take care of hiding $2 Million for him in plain sight. He trusts them to take care of his little problem but makes it clear they better take care of his money as if it were their lives. Because it is. Rudy takes it upon himself to take care of this problem for Mr. King, personally. Unfortunately, he makes the wrong choice when choosing a bank.

Things go from bad to worse when these two worlds collide. Ultimately we discover the true Price of Promotion.

With her fathers reluctant blessing she leaves the reservation, her father Storm Heart, and James her long-time faithful boyfriend to seek her fame.

Junior Johnson is a singer/songwriter traveling the country performing at a variety of gigs, barely making enough to pay for his accommodation, meals and bar bills. The down-home Jolene, slightly younger, and a dedicated life-long fan, has a secret and finally decides to declare herself. Whilst trying to help the inconsolable James, the divorced Storm Heart, missing his estranged wife, Shell Flower, comes to terms with being separated from the two people he loves most.

Laughing Daughter weaves these three loves; their frustrations and their triumphs, into one braided whole, with the songs and melodies of the American Heartland, the story is warm, human and touching.

This is an exciting Christmas season production with a twist. Has 62 speaking parts and original music great for dynamic singers and musicians. Original script was performed on stage very successfully at Thalian Hall Performing Arts Theater in Wilmington, N C to a full house.

Great feedback!! Great story. Set iin three different time periods with Jesus as an adult, the Modern Day Christmas Saga and the exciting birth. Josh and Joanne are the frustrated parents of five kids. The pressure is unbearable. Of course his wife doesn't make it any better. Several leading roles are still open as well as supporting roles and we need many extras.

Currently, this is a very low budget film with very high potential to be a box office hit. Of course, we believe, based on its history, it is an excellent investment for any investors out there willing to hitch there wagons for a better than the banks ' return on their money. Script is being revised for the movie and will include features not in the stage production. Will be shooting on location in various areas in North Carolina such as Wilmington, Southport, Long Beach and the Charlotte area.

Shooting of this movie that will make you laugh, cry, and reflect is scheduled to begin the first week of March 2009, and will probably continue for approximately 12-14 weeks to allow for editing and publicity after shooting in time for marketing it for the Christmas 2009 Holiday Season. We have a good camera team and a very creative and skilled director.

Casting handful of dynamic latin actors for the up and coming international spanish thriller El Viaje de Ana Maria.

The first phase of this production was filmed in Panama with an all Panamanian cast.

We are looking to complete Phase 2 here in the United States with some complimentary scenes. Actors must be Spanish native speakers and acting experience and/or education is a plus.

This is an amazing opportunity for students and professional talent looking to build their portfolio and/or get school credit.

The film will be submitted to major National and International film festivals.

Synopsis: At 19 years old and pregnant a young and impressionable Ana Maria struggles to make ends meat. Juggling a new job, her drunken husband and a unique home situation, she begins to question her place in this world. Her obsessed boss is determined to open her nave mind to the world of mind travel and the esoteric. Eyes wide open, Ana Maria finds herself susceptible to a supernatural environment as she battles to keep her sanity.

Roles: Rosalinda (Lead): Teenager, thin, long hair, and possessed. Will haunt and torment Ana Maria to the end. Anita: 4-7 years old, dark skin, black hair, cute, shy, and curious.

Edelmira: Late 30's, dark skin, a beautiful woman and mother to Anita.

Hugo: Rosalinda's father and Edelmira's brother, Anita's uncle. Tall and dark skin, strong and courageous.

Ins: Married to Hugo and a nervous wreck.

Abuelita: Anita's grandmother. Very old yet attentive and observant.

Padre Fidel: Late 40's catholic priest, fearless. Performs exorcism on Rosalinda.

David: 4-7 years old. Dark skin and hair, Ana Maria's unborn child. Padre: Mid 50's with a scratchy voice. Advises Ana Maria in a confessional booth.

Las Comadres: 6-9 Women who pray the Rosary at a burial.

Description: My small independent film company called Xposure Films seeks the 2 lead guys, 1 lead girl for our first feature film, which will be submitted to Sundance Film Festival and Philly Film Festival, along with other festivals.

This will be summer shoot starting in May 2009 and running till August 2009 with a target start date at the beginning of May. This is a non-paid gig, but we are seeking sponsors to pay for transportation and food. All the people involved in this movie know it will make it far in whatever festivals it is entered in, and will allow everyone to gain lots of exposure and experience.

Scott is put in a position where he HAS to meet a girl, Anna, which is hard since he lied about who he was (using the name Kip), and used someone elses photos.

"Dave" 25-30 years old A handsome successful writer. Dave is Scotts best friend, and the person who Scott stole the photos from (Kip). Dave is good guy at heart, and a hopeless romantic and falls in love with Anna at first sight.

Anna" 20-30 years old A beautiful news writer who has been talking to Kip for a year now, and decides to come surprise him on his vacation. She is a sweet, smart, caring woman who wants to finally meet her prince.
