GREETINGS
TO ALL PROSPECTIVE ACTORS & ACTRESSES
The
information below will give you a better idea of what this project is
about. If you would like any additional information, please do not hesitate
to email us.
KRISTIAN-GABRIEL
DEMO PROJECT
This project will be composed of several different scenes and faux-commercial
spots and will be shot via DV (24P) for a demo reel. All scenes and ads
will be original and will require dedicated dramatic actors/actresses.
If you make the cut, the time requirement
for your presence on shoot date(s) will be very, very little. At this
point, the most dedicated part should take no more than three hours of
your (shoot) time (assuming on how well you know your lines).
WHAT
IS IN IT FOR YOU
Because of the nature of the project, the actors/actresses will not be
paid. This being said, all participants, from actor to crew member, will
receive at least 2 copies (DVD and/or VHS) for their own demo reels. We
can also separate your performance(s) from the entire project for your
own use. The ending of this project will include Gallery-style credits—so
you will be seen next to your credit.
Aside from being sent to all major studios
and networks, some of this material may be used for educational purposes.
WHAT
ARE ACTOR/ACTRESS REQUIREMENTS
1. VIP: As far as acting abilities, each individual must be prepared for
parts that require believable crying or other behavior that might be challenging
in front of tech crews, etc. Please be prepared.
NO PARTS REQUIRE NUDITY OR SEXUAL ACTS.
2. All participants will be required to
sign paperwork allowing us to use the footage we take of you freely. Other
paperwork may be required.
3. All participants that have dialogue
will be responsible for learning their lines and coming prepared to shoots.
We will have a few dramatic sessions before actual shoot date(s) to facilitate
preparedness.
4. Underaged actors/actresses must have
parental or acting guarding permission before being considered. If chosen,
acting parent(s) or guardian will have to sign papers.
For more information about what your part
might entail, refer to the character breakdown list in this document.
Note: For those who are not contacted--you
might be the greatest thing in the world—however, we can only choose
a handful of you. Maybe we will see you on future projects. Good-Luck!
